A classic blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The grapes were sourced from Kevin Watson's vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Each varietal was age in second-use French Barrels for 18 months before we meticulously blended them together into the final wine.
Intensity is dry and lively, with intense fruit-forward flavours; displaying layered characteristics of each of the component grapes, along with a spiciness from the barrels.
Intensity pairs well with heavier fare such as a steak dinner, or might be nice to sip while nibbling chocolate.
